To a degree it has been hard to get my mind wrapped around the "playoff" concept of the FedEx cup.  The idea of getting points with each tournament to end up qualifying to play in a 4 tournament event at the end of the season still produced doubts.  But obviously there are minds wiser than mine.  The "Majors" have remained special over the years because of their set up and because of the hype and because they seem to always bring out the best of the best - And last week surely did that.  And to have a virtual 'unexpected victor' like that with so much 'fire power' in the group one-stroke back was just what the FedEx Doctor ordered.  Slocum didn't just make a putt, he made a "GREAT PUTT" under the circumstances.  It was fun to watch.  So koodos to the FedEx wizards!
