Things are heating up.  There is no way anyone is backing down.  Today and tomorrow should truly be some compelling golf.  There are many story-lines here to watch as everyone jockies for position today.  Will Padraig hold up and give the Europeans the cup or will Tiger find a way to fend everyone off or will O'Hair show his grit and get youth back in the game?  And can Stricker get close enough to be a factor on Sunday?  And what about Kenny Perry?  Where in the heck did he come from?  We know after last year that when he sets him mind on something there is no holding him back.

There is no doubt that at this level anyone can shoot the lights out and catapult from the bottom to respectability and that is exactly what I would suspect would happen.  So watch the little battles that going on from the middle to the bottom of the pack as well as at the top.  With only 30 in the field, everyone has something at stake and don't be surprised is some of those story-lines reverse themselves on Sunday.  The fires are burning and the pots are getting stirred and anything can happen.  Good watching to you all.
