Golf Conditioning for Women
Although there are clearly differences in the way men and women are built, the conditioning exercises are for the most part the same. Individual programs can be adjusted to focus more on flexibility and mobility as opposed to strength but women need to consider strength as well.
Today with equipment advances women are hitting the ball longer than ever before just like men. But it doesn't just happen with more advanced technology. You are seeing more and more lady professionals that are turning to better conditioning. It improves distance, it improves endurance and it results in better more consistent golf. And there is the mental aspect also. Better conditioning can improve focus.
The most comprehensive program we have found is the Ultimate Performance DVD. It focuses more on technique and covers 55 minutes of exercises with explanation as to what areas are affected. It also includes a Work Out Guide and Exercise Forms to set up your specific routine.
We would like to send you a special report entitled "Muscle Your Way to Better Golf" which was authored by the same Physical Therapist that developed the Ultimate Performance DVD. It is a must read for anyone serious about adding more distance to their shots. Just click here and hit send for this FREE report.

Improve Your Overall Golf Strategy
The Pocket Pro booklet provides a handy source for reference during your golf round - Even if you use a distance booklet or any number of the GPS devices on the market today. They provide you with accurate distances, but your Pocket Pro keeps you focused on your game plan and what you need to consider based on your individual abilities so that you get the most out of each golf round. Note what you have learned in previous rounds; actually lay out your plan for each hole; and then after you have completed each hole, note anything significant to consider after the round and then put that behind you get on with your strategy. And in the mean time you have a great stuff to discuss with your instructor.
Golfers know that every round seems to bring new challenges. We never seem to experience the same situations every time we play. Even professionals are subject to errant shots, poor ball striking, errant putter, etc. Every time we tee it up something is going to rear its ugly head. That is the nature of the sport. The key is minimizing the "ugly head" and one way to do that is to stay focused on what we set out to do. Staying focused helps us to accept what comes and to deal with it and move on.
When Annika was playing, much like Tiger Woods on the PGA side, she made her share of errant shots but like Woods she would miss them "on the right side" so that in most cases she still had a shot. That was not by luck. It was by design. The really good golfers know where they can take chances and whether you are a 20 handicap or a 2 the same principle holds true. Play smart and only take chances where if you miss you still have a way to recover.

Playing smart golf helps us to stay more consistent. And consistency results in better scores. So think about things like club selection, ball placement, angle to approach the green, and then pick out targets. One of the biggest flaws of many amateurs is that they focus on the ball as opposed to targets. By focusing on targets we tend to swing through the ball as opposed to swinging at the ball which tends to help us be more fluid and to follow through. So pick out spots where you have learned the fairway is level and play to them. That way you aren't just gripping and ripping but playing good solid strategy golf. It does not require a driver off of each tee. Your three wood or 4 wood has a but more loft and although you may give up a few yards, you will get better placement and consistent "better placement" ultimately results in fewer strokes spent. . read more
